Notarizations

Rooted in the fundamentals of notarial processes – examining, certifying and recording – the term “notarization” encompasses a broad range of services.

No matter the type of notarization, the goal is the same: to authenticate documents through the prevention of frauds and forgeries.

COME PREPARED

Bring any instructions related to your document, as well as your completed document (already filled out) but do not sign it ahead of time.

Bring two separate pieces of valid, unexpired identification:

1st piece: government ID with your name, picture and signature (driver’s license, passport, or BC services card)

2nd piece: ID with your name and signature (debit or credit card, driver’s license, passport, or BC services card)

Note: your name must exactly match on both pieces of identification that you present.

Note: The above services are related to the person whose name is on the document; therefore, that person must be physically present, in person, in front of the notary public when signing the document and/or having identification verified.

Notarizations

Do you need your identity verified? Your signature witnessed? Your original document certified?

Do you require an Apostille/ Authentication for a foreign country? We do it all.

Certified True Copies of Original Documents
Certified True Copies are concerned with the document (rather than a person). Therefore, any person can bring the original document to the notary public for certification. Critically, the document must be the original; we cannot certify copies of documents or documents printed from the internet or emails.
